I am a retired aerospace engineer who loves to collect - most anything. I have many collections - in fact, ever since I was a child I have collected. I have several pieces of McCoy and Fenton I bought as a child at the 5 & 10. One piece of McCoy from that time is marked 79 cents!
I started selling on the auctions (Yahoo and eBay) in 1999, but my busy job kept interfering. So I had to put selling on the back burner, but I did keep right on collecting! I have been retired now for 5 years and selling again for the last 3 years.
I live in the high desert of Southern California, actually the Mojave Desert, in a town that used to be little but is now growing by leaps and bounds. The town is Apple Valley, and its biggest claim to fame is that it was the home of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. We have streets like Dale Evans Parkway, Roy Rogers Drive, and Happy Trails Highway. It's sunshinny here all except for 5 to 10 days of the year, and I love it!
I also love shopping for the items I sell. I shop at estate sales, auctions, private sales, antique and thrift shops, and even yard sales - always looking for quality items in great condition. If an item I sell has a flaw, it is a small one, and I always put that info into my description. I am by no means an expert, but I do try to give honest descriptions of the items I sell. I ship promptly, and I pack items very well with lots of bubble wrap and peanuts. Please email me at c.duke2@verizon.net anytime you have questions.
