I do not know if 'salt glaze' is the correct term to use with this figurine of a dove, but the feel and texture of the finish is very much like salt. I bought this figurine at an estate sale, and it was so dusty and dirty I didn't even know if it could be cleaned. But I used water and a soft cloth, and as you can see it cleaned up very nicely. The dove is a little over 3" tall at the head and is about 5" wide from the head to the tail feathers. Could work in nicely with Christmas decorations.
